A Kohl’s department store in Jackson, MI needed a major facelift. Just from walking through the lot, you could see multiple cracks and loose asphalt. The previous line stripes were also faded, so there wasn’t much curb appeal. Our team swept all of the loose asphalt away and filled the cracks. We also added new line markings to improve the appearance. They said they were thrilled with our workmanship and attention to detail. They couldn’t be happier with the job we gave them. It really added curb, while also protecting their asphalt. Many of their customers have commented on how nice the new lot looks!

A few years ago, we gave one of our customers in Portage, MI, a bid for a mill, pave and striping job for a small driveway. We gave this customer a quote a few years ago after they found us online and contacted us. They decided to hold-off and save up for. Even though this bid was a few years old, we still honored the price we previously quoted them for and did the work. We milled up the drive that led to the church and paved it with new asphalt. We finished it off with new striping along the edge. Our customer said, “thank you for honoring your price even though it was a couple years old. We love the drive and many church saints have comments on how nice it looks!”

In Jackson, MI, we were called to rip out their old asphalt and replace it. We serviced this customer years ago, but after a rough weather changes and wear and tear, the lot had become deteriorated. They needed this to be done as soon as possible, which meant during their business hours. The current asphalt was in such bad shape, so replacing it completely was the best option. It took us a few days to complete the entire lot, but it looked wonderful once it was done! Since it was during the day, we sectioned the lot off and worked on it in that way, so we wouldn’t interfere with customers.

One of our past clients in Kalamazoo, MI contacted us regarding her parking lot, which had spider webbed cracking and broken asphalt throughout. She couldn’t afford to re-do the entire lot, so we suggested having the worst areas patched, until she could budget a full paving job. The patching job is a quick service that is intended to be temporary. We excavated the problem areas of crumbling asphalt, filled them with the repair asphalt and compacted with a roller. For the cracks, we applied an asphalt filler to prevent them from widening further. Our customer was very pleased with the results.
